Just another photo...

I haven't blogged for a while, mainly because I don't think I've had anything particularly interesting to blog about. Yes I could tell stories of teaching in a French high school. About the day I did the most spectacular fall in the courtyard in front of about 150 children and having to be taken away by the pompiers on a stretcher to hospital, or how I've had to explain that bitch and beach really aren't the same thing and if I see another piece of homework telling me they like going to the bitch I won't find it funny any more, (although I did chuckle when I read 'I went to the bitch she was beautiful'!), or how just before Christmas for some bizarre reason my headmaster thought I was Swedish and asked to me to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in the language! I can only think he came to this conclusion as I must have a very strange accent when I speak French as physically I am the complete opposite to what you imagine a typical Swedish female to be like.


Anyway here we are 2012. I've not made any resolutions, never stick to them anyway. I've noted down a couple of things I'd like to achieve this year instead which seems more realistic. However there is one this I'm going to try and do everyday.


Whilst perusing Twitter yesterday I noticed @MlleSorbet struggling to get started with Tumblr, this aroused my curiosity as Michelle is not a very techy person (she says it herself so I'm allowed to say it too). Turns out she was setting up an account so that she could take up the challenge set by @quaystock; to document your life for a year by taking one photo a day. 


Well I'm no photographer but I really liked the idea. Reassured that my photos didn't have to be of professional quality but simply about something that has made an impression on my day I decided to go for it as well. I've no great plan but a couple of ideas and I hope at the end of the year I will also have been able to improve my photography skills ;)
